Elderberries have been linked with reducing the severity of viruses by supporting the immune response to infection.
Reishi mushroom otherwise known as Ganoderma Lucidum has been shown to be an effective immune modulator. In cancer research over the past 5-10 years has been shown to help maintain immune function during cancer treatments.
We also included pumpkin seeds for their high zinc content. For bonus points when making your smoothie, try soaking them overnight as this will help to make the nutrients within the seed more bioavailable.
